Large number of lay devotees present at that time also took equal part in this procession despite the scorching heat of the mid-day.

The main prayer hall of the monastery was all packed with the devotees attending this prayer session. Many were outside circumambulating the monastery, turning prayer wheel & many visited the lamp house where more than a thousand of lamps were lit before the day ends. Many of the devotees thronged the big front yard of the monastery and also at the back relaxing and appreciating serene environment with soothing sound of nuns chanting and various religious instruments.At the end of the puja the devotees were then distributed with tsok.
Ewam India Charitable Trust distributed two thousand bottles of mineral water (250ml & 500ml) and two thousand pcs of poster card displaying the 12 deeds of the Shakyamuni Buddha to devotees on that day.
It is estimated that on that day around five to six thousand people had visited the monastery during the course of the day and as per feedback received, many people experienced a sense of peace & calmness, a closer connection with the spirituality and a blessing from the Buddha ‘The enlightened one”.
Let us all on this auspicious day remind ourselves with the core teaching of the Buddha;

Doing no evil whatsoever
