Covid -19 Pandemic

The ongoing global pandemic of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is one of the deadliest pandemics in the history of mankind. The pandemic has resulted in severe global social and economic disruption. It has led to the shortages of food, medical supplies and facilities, loss of job and income which has hit hard the lives of poor. Till date there is no specific, effective treatment or cure for corona virus and the transmission of the virus is through the droplets released by the infected people as they breathe, talk, cough or sneeze. The preventive measures include social distancing, wearing face mask, hand washing & sanitizing, disinfecting surfaces etc. Taking this into account the Ewam India Charitable Trust has been organizing charity events to uplift the miseries of poor by distributing basic essential rations to poor, distributing surgical & N95 mask, face shield & hand sanitizer for the frontline warrior and the general public.
